Designed as a lifestyle center, with a food store anchor on one side of the site slightly detached from a grouping of mixed use restaurants, small retail shops, and offices with a village main street feel, Lusby Commons is one of the first prjects to be developed within the newly designated "Town Center" in Lusby, Maryland. Interspersed throughout the development are site amenities such as pedestrian pathways, pedestrian lighting, landscaping, decorative hardscape walls, outdoor gathering spaces, and directional and historical signage. The development is intended to draw customers from up to 25 miles away with a mix of local merchants, businesses, and national chain retailers. The mix of small shops and site amenities are designed with the feel of a small village main street to promote a pedestrian feel at an appropriate scale for the town of Lusby. This project is still under construction.
