Knowing how to handle the challenges associated with mixed-use development is something that only experience teaches.  Our experience in urban settings, in historic neighborhoods, in retail development, in preservation and adaptive re-use... it all comes into play. We understand the complexity of designing buildings for residential use, to house individuals and families across the economic and social spectrums. Our clients have included non-profit organizations and for-profit developers, who have used the breadth of financing strategies including low-income housing tax credits, historic tax credits, Block Grant funds, FHA-insured financing, and a variety of other governmental programs. Our projects have ranged from townhouses to high-rises; from hotels to large multi-use urban redevelopments.

One recent project truly encapsulates our capabilities and expertise in mixed-use development. It's called Centerpoint. This urban redevelopment story involved historic preservation and adaptive re-use, in-fill housing and high-rise construction, retail space and structured parking, and the challenge of balancing everything on a downtown site, with competing interests from multiple stakeholders.
