The historic 1900s warehouse known as the Bagby building, is currently being renovated to enhance its urban image. This mixed-use complex in the the Inner Harbor East neighborhood of Baltimore will include office space, retail, and restaurants when completed. KANN Partners has provided full architectural services, which included designing for some dramatic changes to the existing complex: lowering the first floor to allow for on-grade entry; providing larger window openings for retail merchandising; and increasing visual interest at street level through canopies and creation of a uniform sign criteria program.Opening of this building has created some buzz among Baltimore's architectural fans and bloggers, and has been covered on ABC Channel 2 News recently.
