The goals of this presentation are to: define sustainable design concepts and green building terminology and programs; explain the close link between green building objectives and the goals that govern daily maintenance and design decisions in a senior living community; and evaluate the pros and cons of green building strategies by making green building choices for a hypothetical facility.
